蒙古族，科爾沁藝術職業學院青年教師；加拿大英Y·C音樂學院客座講師。中國民族管弦樂學會會員；內蒙古音樂家協會二胡學會常務理事；鄂爾多斯市民族管弦樂學會副會長；美國·福蒙特楓葉藝術教育教學金獲得者；張振星能夠熟練演奏二胡、四胡、鹿頭琴、古琴等多種民族器樂，特別是對蒙古族風格胡琴演奏有著較為深入的研究，多次在省級室內樂大賽上獲獎，2019年7月參加由中央人民廣播電視總臺主辦的“首屆中國民族器樂電視大賽”，成功晉級成年職業拉弦組復賽，獲優秀獎；代表作二胡獨奏曲《追》、《說書調》、《摔跤手》、鹿頭琴獨奏曲《戈壁》等。
